From Inconsistent to Empowered: How ROOTS Discipleship Ignited My Calling

For three years, my ROOTS Discipleship journey was a cycle of starting and stopping. Life’s busy schedules consistently pulled me away, and I found myself dropping the program midway, again and again. I felt stuck, knowing there was a purpose for me but unable to fully step into it. I was neglecting the call I felt to work with women, and my potential remained dormant.

In my fourth year, everything shifted through Mai Shereni’s teaching. The phrase, “Don’t leave your post,” resonated deeply in my spirit. It was the wake-up call I needed. I realized that my inconsistency wasn't just about a busy schedule; it was about avoiding the assignment on my life. With a renewed mindset and a commitment to “trust the process,” I finally completed the Planted Level in full. This time, the lessons took root.

That commitment unlocked everything. The call I had once neglected became the foundation of my life’s work. I launched the “Yes You Can Ladies Network” to help women realize their identity in Christ, pursue their God-given visions, and live with sober-minded purpose.

My personal breakthrough became a catalyst for empowering others. Today, I am a Motivational Speaker, Personal Branding Consultant, and Life Transformational Coach. Annually, I host events that equip women for success in their businesses. This passion for empowerment naturally extended to the next generation, leading me to recently launch the Bouncy Bee Foundation to support underprivileged girls in achieving their dreams through education.

The fruit of this obedience has been humbling. I’ve been honored with the 2023 Most Enterprising Woman Award (Megafest) and the 2024 Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award (ZNCC).

ROOTS Discipleship didn’t just give me information; it equipped me for a transformation that changed my life, my family, and is now changing my community.
